After traveling from Rio de Janeiro, Brazil to Buenos Aires, Argentina last night, Japan National Beach Soccer Team squad got through two-a-day training in the morning and in the afternoon. As it is not as hot and humid in Buenos Aires as in Rio de Janeiro, the environment is suitable for training. Unlike the previous matches and practices held at Copacabana Beach, the squad worked out today on a sand pitch at the training centre of the Argentine Football Association.
The practice included tactics checkups and shooting drills to get prepared for the matches against Argentina National Team scheduled tomorrow and day after tomorrow.

TERUKINA Shingo (SOL MAR PRAIA)
We all went through our tactics together including goalkeepers. We will try what worked well in the four matches against Brazilian teams and see how much they get through against Argentina. We don’t have so many playing opportunities before the AFC Beach Soccer Championship, which is also set as the FIFA Beach Soccer World Cup Qualifiers, so we will play tomorrow’s match to make it a good one.

ODA Hirofumi (TOKYO LEQUIOS BS)
In today’s practice, we went through our tactics tailored to various situations that can happen in a match, so it was very productive. Tomorrow, we will show what we practiced and win the match.

OBA Takaaki (Dorsole Kitakyushu)
Tomorrow’s match against Argentina will be very tough. In such kind of match, set plays can make the match flow and result different, so we reviewed plays from free kicks and corner kicks today. We have active communications with each other and have prepared well. We will fight for a win tomorrow.
