Paralympic History(Japan Blind Soccer Men's National Team)

  • 2012年 ロンドンオリンピック

The event was postponed for one year due to the spread of the new coronavirus. Japan will participate in the Paralympics for the first time as the host nation.
In their first match of the qualifying league, the Japanese team scored an impressive 4-0 win over France, the silver medalists at the London 2012 Games, to mark their historic first victory.
They then lost to Brazil, the absolute Paralympic champion, and China, a strong Asian team, and were sent to the fifth and sixth place playoffs, but ended the tournament with a 1-0 win over Spain, ranked third in the world, to finish in fifth place.
