JFA Uniqlo Soccer Kids
JFA Uniqlo Soccer Kids is a football festival mainly for six-year old kids or younger. Under the support from Uniqlo Co., Ltd., the JFA hosts the event at 14 sites throughout Japan. The event aims that kids enjoy playing 8-on-8 football with little emphasis on winning or losing. No fee is charged to participate in the event. All participants are provided with a “T-shirt” by Uniqlo Co., Ltd. It is very important for kids to experience playing football matches, but in addition to that, other attractions are prepared as well for their individual skills improvement, providing places where even kids with no match experience can enjoy football.

About our projects in Asia
The JFA coordinates with a number of Asian countries and football associations for developing coaches, training young generation of players and inviting teams and delegations to Japan. Since 2013, the JFA sells the broadcast rights of SAMURAI BLUE’s (Japan National Team) international friendlies and more than 50 countries have been broadcast live (including non-exclusive areas) in order to develop “Japanese football” popularity and to boost football in the entire world. By adding this new project, the JFA works to contribute to the Asian region by using all levels of platform from grassroots to the national team.
Relationship with Football Association of Singapore
The JFA concluded a partnership agreement with the Football Association of Singapore on April, 2014. The aim is to interact with each other through football including dispatching coaches and referee instructors. In the past, the JFA sent off coaches for Singapore National U-16 and U-14 team. Japan has welcomed training camps of various age categories including Singapore National Team. On the other hand, Japan National Team held a training camp in Singapore prior to the match against Malaysia at the final round of London Olympics Asian Qualifiers in February, 2012.
On June, 2013, the J.League entered into the partnership agreement with Football Association of Singapore, which operates the Singapore League (S.League). The partnership aims at quality improvement in various fields such as communication, marketing, game operations, academies and player transfers. One J.League match of every week has been broadcast live on Singapore’s largest cable television “Starhub”.
