22 March 2019
In efforts to support the development of football in Asia, the Japan Football Association (JFA) has been dispatching instructors to many regions of Asia. Most recently, Mr. MIZUSHIMA Musashi has been dispatched to the Republic of Tajikistan from JFA. He has been appointed as Assistant Coach of the U-17 Tajikistan National Team to support the team for the FIFA U-17 World Cup Brazil 2019 scheduled this October.
Instructor’s Comment
MIZUSHIMA Musashi, Assistant Coach of U-17 Tajikistan National Team
I have been newly named as the assistant coach of the U-17 Tajikistan National Team. In Tajikistan, Mr. SUZUKI Chikashi was the first Japanese instructor to coach the U-16 National Team, where he led the team for three years from 2010. Also, Mr. SHIMADA Nobuyuki has worked as the academy coach of the Tajikistan Football Federation (TFF) in 2018. I will be succeeding on these predecessors to develop the Tajikistani football to a higher level. The officials of the team are inspired by the discipline seen in Japanese football. Ahead of the FIFA U-17 World Cup 2019, where the team will be representing Asia, I will devote myself to support the team, players, coaching staff, together with the TFF General Secretary, Mr. Davlatmand ISLOMOV, to make the best preparation as possible.
