Cambodia to have 4 Dispatched Instructors from Japan
25 February 2019
In efforts to support the development of football in Asia, the Japan Football Association (JFA) has been dispatching instructors to many regions of Asia. Most recently, Mr. GYOTOKU Koji and Mr. INOUE Kazunori started their new assignments in Cambodia. The two will join the task force with Referee Director KARAKIDA Tetsu, who has been working in Cambodia for many years, Technical Director OHARA Kazunori, along with General Secretary Sareth KEO and the other members of the Football Federation of Cambodia to support the development of football in Cambodia.
Instructors' Comments
Mr. GYOTOKU Koji
I am newly appointed as the instructor at the Cambodia Football Academy U-18, as well as the coach of the U-18 National Team. With the Academy U-18 newly joining the Cambodia League, there will be many official matches scheduled ahead of us including the cup matches. The U-18 National Team is also scheduled to participate at the AFC U-19 Championship Qualifiers and the AFF U-19 Championship. I will give my very best efforts to support the Cambodian Football community.
Mr. INOUE Kazunori
I have returned to Cambodia to instruct the Football Academy U-15 as well as to become the coach of the U-15 National Team. The academy is entering its sixth year since it was founded, and over the years, Japanese instructors have taken the lead to instruct the players at the academy. Former academy players from the early years are now playing for the top teams at the domestic league and some has been named into the National Team. I strongly believe that the Japanese instructors have played a positive role in the overall growth of Cambodian Football and I hope to continue on that trend by helping the players of younger generations strive to become better players.
