Coach Comment

TEGURAMORI Makoto, Coach
I am looking forward very much to playing against South Africa, one of the countries playing in the Olympics, at the last match we play in Japan before taking off to the Rio de Janeiro. We want to show in this match that we are capable of doing something notable in the Olympics. We have to have variety of weapons in our arsenal for the Olympics, and South Africa are a country that we get to show one of the variations against. We want to show people how we will play and what kind of style we will take to play against the world. South Africa are based on sophisticated physicality, very skilled and recently very tactical in my opinion. Since we don’t have many opportunities to play against African countries, it will be a very valuable opportunity for our development.
