Players' Comments
DF #3  ICHISE Nana (VEGALTA SENDAI LADIES)
For the match against the world’s top team, the USA Women’s National Team, what we aim at is to win the match, and as a player I want to keep a clean sheet. Considering their speed and strong fitness of USA, I want to learn some things to improve myself such as: how to use my body to block well, how to keep a good distance, and when to move the defence line.
MF #13  SHIMAMURA Yukiko (NITTAIDAI FIELDS YOKOHAMA)
I am looking forward to playing against USA. We will get united well to win and we want to see how valid our level of play as a player and as a team. This will be the last match in Papua New Guinea, so we will do our best not to have any regrets.
