Update Regarding the Opening Day of the U-16 International Dream Cup 2026 JAPAN Following the Approach of Typhoon No. 6 (6/3-6/7＠J-Village)

The U-16 International Dream Cup 2026 JAPAN, which is scheduled to kick off at J-Village in Fukushima Prefecture tomorrow, 3 June, may be affected by the approach of Typhoon No. 6. (As of 14:00 on 2 June)
To ensure the safe operation of the tournament, we are currently considering all possible options, including whether matches can be played as scheduled, potential changes of venue, adjustments to kick-off times, and broadcast arrangements.
We are also reviewing spectator attendance plans in light of the expected weather conditions and the status of local transportation services. This includes the possibility of holding matches behind closed doors.
Should any changes be made, updates will be communicated promptly via the official JFA website, official X account, and other official channels. We kindly ask everyone to check JFA's official channels regularly for the latest information.
