The Tunisia National Team arrived at Kansai International Airport on Tuesday 7 June ahead of the KIRIN CUP SOCCER 2022 to be held at Noevir Stadium Kobe (Hyogo) and Panasonic Stadium Suita (Osaka) on Friday 10 and Tuesday 14 June.

Despite showing signs of fatigue from the long travel, the players worked out at the hotel to condition themselves and get ready for the match against Chile on Friday 10.

This friendly match is a very important match for us. We had a tough time in the African qualifiers, but these friendlies in Japan will give us a great opportunity to prepare for the World Cup, so we are planning to take an aggressive approach to win the matches. The Chile National Team consists of many talented players, so we want to give our best effort to compete against them. We are aware of how the Ghana National Team play, so it would be fascinating if we could play against Japan. We believe that this is an opportunity for us to develop as a team, so we will do our best to win all matches.

I am still tired from the long flight, but I am very happy to be here in Japan. It is unfortunate that the curfew restrictions prevent us from exploring the city, but we have no choice given the current global situation. We will work hard as a team to prepare ourselves before the match and do our best to win the first match so that we can compete for the title.
