Conditions of entry and change of kick-off time of AFC Asian Qualifiers (Road to Qatar) SAMURAI BLUE (Japan National Team) vs China PR (1/27@Saitama) & Saudi Arabia (2/1@Saitama)

Japan Football Association (JFA) would like to inform all visitors of the AFC Asian Qualifiers (Road to Qatar) to be held at Saitama Stadium 2002 on Thursday 27 January and Tuesday 1 February, that conditions of entry will be imposed in order to prevent the spread of COVID-19.
All visitors are required to present one of the following three documents upon entry to the stadium, so please come prepared.
① Proof that two weeks have elapsed since the second vaccination
② Proof of a negative PCR test within 72 hours of each match
③ Proof of a negative qualitative antigen test within 24 hours of each match
Also, the kick-off time for the match against the Saudi Arabia National Team on Tuesday 1 February has been changed from 19:35 to 19:10.
In addition to the JFA match management regulations, both matches will be strictly managed in accordance with the COVID-19 infection prevention measures. We ask for your cooperation in complying with the “Guidelines for visitors” posted on the official JFA website “JFA.jp.” Please note that restrictions on admission and operational procedures may be subject to further changes depending on the status of the COVID-19 infection, government policies, and decisions made by the local authorities.

Conditions of entry
In addition to the existing prevention measures, conditions of entry will be imposed to ensure a safe and secure match experience for all visitors.
All visitors are required to present one of the following three documents upon entry to the stadium.
① Proof that two weeks have elapsed since the second vaccination
② Proof of a negative PCR test within 72 hours of each match
③ Proof of a negative qualitative antigen test within 24 hours of each match

Both proof of vaccination and identification will be checked at the match venue. Only those who have been verified will be admitted.
1. Original or copy of COVID-19 vaccination certificate (Any of the following are acceptable / can be presented on a smart phone or app)
① COVID-19 vaccination certificate
② Certificate of vaccination for COVID-19
③ Record of vaccination for COVID-19
2. Identification that can be used to verify the above vaccination records (e.g. driving licence, passport, health insurance card, student ID card)
※If you have forgotten any of the above documents, or if your identity cannot be verified, you will not be admitted even if you have purchased a ticket.
② Those who have tested negative in a PCR test performed within 72 hours of the match date

Both the negative result and your identification will be checked at the match venue. Only those who have been verified will be admitted.
1. Negative result from a PCR test taken within 72 hours of the match date (Can be presented on a smart phone / no need for a paid negative certificate)
2. Identification that can be used to verify the above negative result (e.g. driving licence, passport, health insurance card, student ID card)
③ Those who have tested negative in a qualitative antigen test performed within 24 hours of the match date

(Must be tested on the day of 27 January)
・1 February, AFC Asian Qualifiers (Road to Qatar) SAMURAI BLUE (Japan National Team) vs Saudi Arabia National Team
(Must be tested on the day of 1 February)
Both the negative result and your identification will be checked at the match venue. Only those who have been verified will be admitted.
1. A negative result from a qualitative antigen test taken within 24 hours of the match date (Can be presented on a smart phone / no need for a paid negative certificate)
If you choose to perform the test yourself, you will need to write your name on the test kit that shows the negative result, take a photo of it, and present the photo at the match venue. (Can be presented on a smart phone or other device) ※Please refer to the examples shown in the photos.
2. Identification that can be used to verify the above negative result (e.g. driving licence, passport, health insurance card, student ID card)
※Primary school students under the age of 12 will be admitted with either a negative PCR or qualitative antigen test result. Pre-school children of six years old and under are not required to be vaccinated or to have a PCR/qualitative antigen test.
※Please note that local authorities are currently offering free PCR and qualitative antigen tests.
The number of appointments may be limited depending on the day, so please plan to make your appointments early. For more information about the free PCR test, please refer to the website of your local government.
※If you are unable to apply for the free PCR test, you will need to purchase a qualitative antigen test kit at your own expense (there is no specification for the type of test kit). Please write your name on the test kit that shows the negative result, take a photo of it, and present it with your smart phone or other device at the match venue.
Ticket refund information
For those who have purchased tickets in advance and are unable to attend the match due to the change of kick-off time and/or conditions of entry, refunds will be made between Wednesday 19 and Sunday 23 January. For more information, please refer to the “Refund notice” page.
For the match on Tuesday 1 February, tickets with a kick-off time of 19:35 will still be valid.
Notes for visitors
Visitors with a positive PCR or qualitative antigen test result will not be permitted into the match venue. On the day of the match, visitors will be checked for their body temperature at the entrance gate. Those with a body temperature of 37.5℃ or higher will not be admitted. Please be aware that tickets are non-refundable in case admission is denied at the match venue.
【Frequently asked questions】About the conditions of entry
Q.Do I need to provide all of the vaccination certificate, negative PCR result, and negative qualitative antigen test result?
A.You do not need to have all of them, just one of the three to gain entry.
Q.I am going to take a qualitative antigen test, how do I prove my test result?
A.Please write your name on the test kit that shows the negative result, take a photo of it, and present the photo with your smartphone at the match venue.

Q.How do I write my name on the qualitative antigen test kit?
A.Please use a pen to write on the test kit which shows the negative result.

Q.Do I need to use a specific kit for the qualitative antigen test? Can I just buy one from the drugstore?
A.There is no specification for the qualitative antigen test kit. Any kit on the market will be acceptable.
Q.Do I have to take the qualitative antigen test within 24 hours of the match? How do I prove that I have taken it within 24 hours?
A.Please take the test on the day of the match before travelling to the venue and present the photo of the test kit and your identification at the entrance gate.
Q.Can I enter with a vaccination certificate issued by the local authorities?
A.Yes, you will be admitted.
Q.Can I enter by presenting my documents via smartphone or app?
A.Yes, in both cases you will be admitted.
Q.I have been vaccinated, but do I still need to provide a negative result?
A.You will be admitted to both matches with your vaccination certificate showing that two weeks have passed since your second dose.
