Nadeshiko, U-23s announce squad changes

Nadeshiko Japan defender Sameshima Aya of Houston Dash has been forced to pull out of Japan’s Algarve Cup squad after picking up an injury.
Kamionobe Megumi of Albirex Niigata was called up in her place.
And in the Japan women’s U-23 squad to play at the La Manga International Women’s U-23 Tournament, injured midfielder Naomoto Hikaru of Urawa Reds Ladies was replaced by would-be NTV Beleza player Shimada Chiaki.
The Nadeshiko Japan will play the United States on March 5, Denmark on March 7 and Sweden on March 10 before a classification match on March 12.
The Japan women’s U-23 side will play the United States on March 1, Norway on March 3 and England on March 5.
