Coaches' Comment

Marcelo MENDES, Coach
We now get to play against ideal opponents in these friendlies. We always want to face world's powerhouses. That's the best means to improve the team and enables us to find out what level we are at now. Tahiti were the runners-up in the last World Cup and have been kept their top flight status with 5th in the world rankings.

So they are the best counterparts for us and it's going to be a big challenge. I'm sure those two matches will be great, so I want lots of fans to visit and watch and support us. Please fill the seats to help our players find their feet more than they usually do and play against Tahiti with confidence.

Note: World Rankings = Determined by the Beach Soccer World Wide (BSWW). Japan are ranked thirteenth.
