The starting goalkeeper for her age group at two World Cups, she moved to the USA after graduating from high school with an eye on a future international career.
She helped Japan to a runners-up finish at the FIFA U-20 Women's World Cup Costa Rica 2022™ and was named in the Nadeshiko Japan squad for the European tour in November that year.
In the USA, she honed her ability to deal with strong physical opponents, and since the beginning of this year, she has been involved in overseas tours as the third choice goalkeeper behind veteran goalkeepers Yamashita and Hirao.
At the University of Mississippi, she is as committed to academics as she is to football.
