Tokyo Verdy Youth taking on Ryutsukeizaidai Kashiwa in favorite home – Prince Takamado Trophy Premier League EAST
17 July 2014
The Prince Takamado Trophy Premier League will have its week 9 matches on Sunday 20 July.
Two teams on uptrend, Consadore Sapporo (Hokkaido) and Ichiritsu Funabashi High School meeting on upcoming game. Consadore Sapporo has been undefeated for three games since week 6 won and kept blank sheet against Mitsubishi Yowa SC Youth in the previous game and showing much stable defense. Not a big difference for Ichiritsu Funabashi High School. They climbed up to fourth place gaining points from top teams after drawing with Kashiwa Reysol U-18 (Chiba) on week 7 and beat top-place Shimizu S-Pulse Youth in previous week. Expecting to be a close game of two teams picking up the speed.
The game between two uprising teams will be exciting one.
Aomori Yamada High School (Aomori) will be playing against Kashima Antlers Youth (Ibaraki). Has been shied away from victory for last four games, Aomori Yamada already lost two games in home where used to be a favorite ground last year. The defense has to be on the alert especially when attack ”Bad way to lose the ball when attacking” said Head Coach Kuroda Tsuyoshi. On the other hand, Kashima Antlers Youth second victory against Tokyo Verdy Youth in previous week. Aiming for a consecutive win keeping a momentum.
It will be an important match for 8th place Mitsubishi Yowa and 7th place JFA Academy Fukushima (Shizuoka) for breaking out of lower group. Lady luck has been away for two games, Mitsubishi ought to get three points from JFA Academy Fukushima which has been undefeated for three games. Waiting the forward players to wake up as they ended up in no goal for 15 shoots in previous match.
Second place Kashiwa to meet 1st place Shimizu S-Pulse, battling for a top place. Kashiwa keeping undefeated record since week 3 when they lost, won against Aomori Yamada in previous week at their home with blank sheet. They are accumulating points steadily for reaching their goal of winning the championship in the first year of promoted to Premier League. For Shimizu S-Pulse, bit unstable because they won one game and lost two in recent three games but they have some positive news of their talisman Kitagawa Koya is coming back, etc. See which team will be smiling after the game, this competition for first place might change team ranking depending on the outcome.
