The Prince Takamado Trophy U-18 Football League 2014, Premier League WEST will have Week 5 matches on Saturday 10 May and Sunday 11 May.

Nagoya Grampus U-18 (Aichi), currently undefeated top in the standings from the opening of the tournament, will play against Higashiyam High School (Kyoto). Toyama Daiichi High School (Toyama) with no winning in all matches from the opening will have Sanfrecce Hiroshima F.C Youth at home. Though the team could gain scores in three matches of all four, it had a rough time in defence, losing 14 points. It is expected to improve its balance between offence and defence. While, Hiroshima has successfully soaked the possession soccer that the entire team has worked together. It will try to gain 3 points with winning on the this week's game, using offence-focused strategy.

Kobe, having successive draw games in last two, will face Higashi Fukuoka High School (Fukuoka), aiming the first victory in these three matches. The attention is focused on how the team respond to the Higashi Fukuoka's offense that socred 4 points in the previous game of week 4.

Cerezo Osaka U-18 (Osaka) is trying to catch up with the top Nagoya, taking its advantage of abundant momentum described as "second to none" (Yuki Hashimoto). Whether it surpass the opponent in speed and invite chances in the game against Kyoto Tachibana High School (Kyoto) will be worth watching for.

Kyoto Sanga F.C. U-18 (Kyoto) won a first sweeping victory with 4-0 in the last match. The team now surely feels a certain confidence for coming back to form, as said by Onishi Yuki "we could protect our goal even when our defences were almost broken through by the opponent. This experience made us feel that we could win against any teams if only we have a strong mind".
