【Tournament Cancellation】JFA 25th Japan Futsal Championship (3/14-22@Tokyo, Shizuoka, Aichi, Osaka, Hyogo)

In response to the government guidelines released yesterday, which states that we are at a crucial moment in preventing the escalation of mass infection of the coronavirus disease, all events and meetings conducted by JFA were under review, and as a result, JFA determined to cancel the 25th Japan Futsal Championship, which was scheduled to take place between Saturday 14 to Sunday 22 March.

Participating Teams:
32 teams selected through the following categories:
(1) 11 teams from F.League division 1, 7 teams from F.League division 2
(2) 1 team each from 9 regions
(3) 5 teams from the regions with most participating teams last year (Kanto2, Tokai1, Kansai1, Kyushu1)
Tournament Format:
Knockout format. Third-place match will not be played.
