Hinomoto Gakuen wins All-Japan High School Women’s crown

 Hinomoto Gakuen won the All-Japan High School Women’s Championship with a 4-1 win over Fujieda Junshin High School of Shizuoka Prefecture on Thursday. It was Hinomoto Gakuen’s second title. 
 The team from Hyogo Prefecture was also honored with the tournament’s Fair Play Award.
 Trailing 1-0, midfielder Kojima Wakiko equalized in the 59th minute and midfielder Irie Miki struck the tie-breaker two minutes later.
 Irie added another goal later to raise her goal total in the tournament to eight, which made her the competition’s top scorer.
