JFA Premier Cup 2014 Team Introduction: Ehime FC Junior Youth, F.C. Cormorunt, and Oita Trinita U-15
30 April 2014
The JFA Premier Cup 2014 supported by NIKE is to provide an opportunity for improvement of football skills and growth of a healthy body and mind to players under 15 years old who will be the centrepiece of the future for Japan’s football. The tournament is open to all teams registered in the third class.
The champion team will be awarded with a spot in the Manchester United Premier Cup World Finals 2014 (Wed. 6 - Sat. 9 August 2014 in Manchester, UK).
Following are introductions of Shikoku regional 1st and 2nd representatives, and Kyushu regional representative.
Ehime FC Junior Youth
Region and Prefecture | Shikoku regional 1st representative/ Ehime Pref. |
---|---|
Appearance | Tenth appearance |
Team Comment | This is a junior youth team which is active as Ehime FC Academy. We have given players consistent coaching and have worked on developing specialists and players with rich humanity in order to produce professional world-wide football players, who love Ehime and are loved by Ehime. We would like to make use of the experience at this tournament in the future. |
F.C. Cormorunt
Region and Prefecture | Shikoku regional 2nd representative/ Kagawa Pref. |
---|---|
Appearance | Second appearance |
Team Comment | The team practices in Utazu, Kagawa Prefecture, as the base of activities. It has welcomed seventh generation players, and now 66 players from three different grades are active. This is our second time to participate in Premier Cup after an interval of three years. The best feature of this year’s team is the “teamwork.” We will concentrate on each match and play with this teamwork as our weapon. We will not give up until the end so that we can show the result of our everyday practice. I hope that they always remember gratitude and grow up not only as a football player but also as a person through this tournament. |
Oita Trinita U-15
Region and Prefecture | Kyushu regional representative/ Oita Pref. |
---|---|
Appearance | Fourth appearance |
Team Comment | As a subordinate organization of Oita Trinita in J League, we have been active with the emphasis on developing world-wide players, reinforcing their abilities, and character-building. We will do our best and aim for victory. |
