Sixteen teams will be competing in the 1st All Japan Youth (U-18) Futsal Championship presented by BallBall, scheduled to start on Thu. 28 August, aiming to become the first champion club.

Entry clubs of the championship includes established competitive club in high school who has a track record of participating in All Japan High School Soccer Tournament like Yasu High School Football club (Kansai 2/Shiga) and Teikyo Nagaoka High School Football club (Kitashinetsu/Niigata), etc. On the other hand, there are clubs usually play exclusively futsal like Nagoya Oceans U-18 (Tokai 1/Aichi), Mario Futsal School (Tokai 2/Shizuoka), Clark Memorial International High School (Kansai 1/Hyogo), NFC Football Club (Kyushu 1/Oita), etc.

Also there are other clubs who are regular teams and champion club in futsal tournaments of U-18 age groups such as Sakuyo High School (Chugoku/Okayama), FC Makuhari (Kanto 2/Chiba).The championship will be the stage to show off skills developed in football or futsal respectively. Spectators are likely to see each side’s strength - physical strength, speed, agility, technique, and team’s tactics / strategy.

Which team will clinch the crown of victory at commemorative first championship.The event, starting on 28 August lasting four days through Sun. 31 August, will be held at Sumidaku Sogo Taikukan (Sumida City Gymnasium) and Otaku Sogo Taiikukan (Ota-City General Gymnasium) in Tokyo (3rd place playoff on 31 Aug and final will be at Otaku Sogo Taiikukan).
