Another JFA Challenge Game’s periodic skill test session was held at Japan Football Museum Virtual Stadium on Saturday 19 July.

[12:30-] Go Craque!

The “Go Craque” program, designed to nurture the physical coordination ability necessary for children’s growth process, was held. Small children together with their fathers and coaches learned body movements of playing football as a lot of smiles and laughter filled the sight.

[13:15-] Football Clinic for Mothers

The Football Clinic for Mothers was held for the second time, and had many mothers participate in the program.
Just as ones for children, the purpose of this program is to provide participants with opportunities to engage in appropriate amount of exercise and grow understanding of football as well as to give opportunities to enjoy different types of communication with their children by playing football together. Skills taught were centered on fundamental passing and receiving the ball. They had regularly watched their kids play, so the way they controlled and kicked the ball was outstanding.

[13:30-] Go Fantasista!

“Go Fantasista!” tests children on how much they individually practice controlling the ball. Participating children aimed for the stage 20 where more skillful controls were required.
Even though children tried to show tricks suitable for their current skill level, nervousness kept them from completing their attempts. However, there were actually those who overcame such mental obstacles to fulfil the stage requirements. We expect those who did not to take advantage of this failure and keep working on their skills to challenge again at the next test.

[14:30-] Family Futsal

“Family Futsal” was played in order for participating parents and children to play together for fun. This time saw mothers and fathers teaming up to play against the team of children. Both teams competed seriously but enjoyably in fun futsal.
