Yasuhimi Kanagaki, father of Yuna Kanagaki from Osawano Chuo Kindergarten
It was good to enjoy football even with the rainy weather. We participated as a team of our kindergarten. Usually, some players of Kataller Toyama visit us to coach kids and my daughter plays there. Today she could score a goal. I want her to keep playing football. Next event will be the last chance for my daughter to join, so I know that I will miss this opportunity next year.
Hirohide Namikawa, General Secretary of Toyama Football Association which organised this event
We worked very hard for JFA Uniqlo Soccer Kids to put on this even which is for the kids and their parents. We know they were looking forward to this event. It was very good that the typhoon did not attack our venue and we could hold the event in the morning with all participants. Even though we had an opening ceremony under a bit of rainy weather, the weather improved and kids just enjoyed football. Personally I felt the value of this event and the power of sports by looking at how the kids’ were fixated on chasing a ball regardless of bumps or tumbles. We want to keep working on this event for the future.
