The first half of the Urawa Reds Course for class B coach training was held from 2 to 7 June at Redsland in Saitama prefecture.
This course opened for the first time in cooperation with Urawa Reds.
We had 29 participants who have coached players in various teams in J.league, schools or club teams.

Urawa Reds held the class B coach training course for its first try as the main organizer. We happily had 29 participants with diverse backgrounds as a coach, who is belonging to J.league, Nippon Junior High School Physical Culture Association, Town Club, J4 or Japan Football League, Women or Nadeshiko Leaugue and so on. Some of them enjoys professional experiences.
There were tense atmosphere among participants in the opening of the course, but they got to open up to one another in a minute, contributing to smooth process of this course under the environment they can easily understand each other.
In the practical training, all participants including former J. Leaguer looked to be engaged in active plays, creating a high-quality training environment.
They had vigorous opinion exchanges in the group discussion, leading the mood for the active course that every participant played its role.
It was the meaningful course for us to be able to expect higher qualities of participants in the next latter term.

Even in the discussion from the perspectives of instructors, some remarks from the players' view have changed the direction of it drastically and that kinds of experiences made me re-realize the great meaning of this training course that open to various people.

Given the change of a social environment, now demands for football coaches have increased as well as those for sports and soccer. I expect that participants for the course have been inspired by exchanges with others, doing well in their various future endevors.

The training course with 5 days and 6 nights gave me a exiting and rewarding time, as I could enjoy exchanges with other participants of wide variety of backgrounds in the field of coaching. Some of them are cocaches of J. League, Schools or Club teams of wide generations from junior to university students. I was nervous at beginning but easily got open to other participants through soccer.
Touching on the different views or the way of thinking were also wonderful experiences for me. With appreciation to this splendid experience, I will try to make day-to-day efforts for my personal growth and development.
I again thanks for all supports from JFA, Urawa Reds, staff of Redsland, Mr Matsumura of our instructor, Mr Horino, Mr Sunagawa of sub-staff, and Mr Shimizu.

We had a very fruitful 6 days, as each participants with various backgrounds as coaches of Town clubs, elementary school, junior high school, high school and J-Club was engaged in practical trainings and lecture sessions openly and actively.
We have shared the current situation of Japan's soccer and Japan's way to be aimed for the future. Given many opportunity to discuss our efforts, plannings and the teaching methods for the Japan's future goal,I could reorganized my philosophy or concrete instructional methods every time I tried to tell them to other participants. Thanks to hearing opinions from other coaches, I could also realized manyimportant points.
The practical trainings gave us a detailed and high-level contents, not the way to just give answers to players or lead them to plays in coaches minds. I could learnt the methods to let players make its own choices or have its own ideas as well as "the point to pay attention as coaches" to see next or after next plays.
Coaches need to be creative at first in order to develop more creative players. I will make efforts until fall to make the latter next term more productive and fruitful.
