JFA signs on partnership with Indonesia

Japan Football Association (JFA) signed on a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Football Association of Indonesia (PSSI) today, 7 December 2017. This agreement between the two football governing bodies will deepen the mutual relationship and continuous cooperation for further development of football in both Indonesia and Japan.
Having welcomed PSSI Vice President Mr. Joko DRIYONO and General Secretary Ms. Ratu Tisha DESTRIA to Tokyo, JFA President TASHIMA Kohzo expressed his appreciation for this precious occasion of signing the first MoU between PSSI and JFA. “Indonesia and Japan will celebrate the 60th anniversary of diplomatic relations between the two countries next year. Prior to this important milestone, I am so pleased and honoured to form a partnership with Football Association of Indonesia. Through this partnership, we will cooperate in various areas of football development in both countries and it will certainly contribute to the beautiful game in Asia.”

The MoU between PSSI and JFA agrees on the cooperation in the following areas:
1. Referees Development
2. Exchange in Referee and Coach Education and Administration
3. Friendly Matches between National Teams
4. Study Programme for Clubs and Staff
5. Collaboration between National Leagues

Until today JFA has signed MoU with the following football associations:
Asia
[East] Hong Kong, Mongolia
[ASEAN] Singapore, Vietnam, Thailand, Laos
[South] India
[Central] Iran, Uzbekistan
[West] Jordan, Qatar, United Arab Emirates, Oman
Europe
England, France, Germany, Spain and Denmark
