JFA strengthens ties with French Football Federation

Japan Football Association (JFA), signed on today a renewed partnership MoU with Federation Francaise de Football (FFF) at FFF office in Paris, France. Both football governing bodies will now cooperate with each other for further development of football in France and Japan.
JFA and FFF have been building close relationship over the years. This time, in order to push the level of mutual cooperation to another stage, both football governing bodies have agreed to sign on this renewed MoU, which was first signed in 2005.
JFA President DAINI Kuniya expressed “I am very honoured by this renewal of partnership with French Football Federation which has been a good partner and friend. Through the exchanges in the areas of not only youth development but also sports medicine and management, we will surely strengthen the friendship and trust for each other.”
The MoU between JFA and FFF aims at the following main areas of cooperation:
- Development programmes for men and women’s football;
- Development of youth football and grassroots;
- Sports science and medicine;
- Doping control;
- The fight against doping;
- Physical conditioning;
- Sports technology and infrastructure;
- Sports management and administration;
- Marketing;
- Referees;
- Match manipulation
